About Chef Lauren
Lauren's interest in cooking began at an early age; she often watched Emeril Lagasse 'Kick it up a notch!' on Saturday mornings, in lieu of watching cartoons.

Lauren broke into the culinary industry as a line cook in 2008 while studying at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, CA. She worked in a variety of professional kitchens before moving to Mississippi, where she landed the opportunity to compete on reality cooking show, "The Taste," on ABC with chefs Anthony Bourdain and Nigella Lawson.

After her TV appearance, Lauren taught high school culinary arts and maintained her teaching license while training at various culinary schools throughout the country.

As a mom of 4, Lauren understands the importance of creating lifelong memories, while also allowing kids to learn in a fun and safe environment.
